Timber framing is a corner-stone of Vermont Country Builders’ craft. The timber members that our team builds are functional and straight. They are sawn from native trees, and the mortise -and-tenon joints are handcrafted.
Our team has honed the craft of making the timber framed construction look rough or finished to meet the design needs of the project. Many clients prefer a rough frame with a square-edge style with pine boards to create a barn-like aesthetic.
Other clients have chosen the finished timber frame look to complement a more finished interior design aesthetic. There is no denying the popularity and appeal of timber framed homes, especially in Vermont!
